Child Dental
Benefits Schedule.
Free, bulk-billed dental care for eligible children aged 2-17. Give your child a confident smile with zero out-of-pocket costs.
The Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS) is an Australian Government initiative supporting children's oral health. At Oak Park Dental & Denture Clinic, we proudly bulk bill all eligible CDBS treatments, ensuring your child receives the essential dental care they need with absolutely no gap fees. We actively serve families from Glenroy, Pascoe Vale, and Fawkner.
2026 Benefit Cap: $1,158 Over 2 Calendar Years (100% Bulk Billed)
As of July 2026, the Commonwealth Child Dental Benefits Schedule benefit cap is indexed to $1,158 per child over two consecutive calendar years (2025–2026). This covers basic dental services including checkups, digital X-rays, cleans, fluoride treatments, fillings, and extractions. Our practice bulk bills directly to Medicare so parents face zero out-of-pocket gap payments.
